No. The buckle slides along the mesh, so you set the length by hand and change it whenever you want. There are no links to take out and no tool in the box because you don't need one.
It adjusts anywhere from 135 to 231 mm, which covers most wrists comfortably. Wrap a tape measure around your wrist to check where you fall in that range.
The larger cases: 44, 45, 46 and 49 mm. Check the case size on your watch rather than the series name — the 42 mm Series 10 and 11 use a smaller lug and won't fit.
Yes. The band is water resistant, and the open weave breathes rather than trapping sweat against your skin. Rinse it with fresh water and dry it afterwards.
The colour is applied by vacuum electroplating, which bonds to the steel rather than sitting on top of it — so it holds its tone far better than a painted or dipped finish.
